19-year old Islamiyat Yusuf wins Nigeria’s fourth medal at Commonwealth Games
Islamiyat Adebukola Yusuf has won Nigeria’s fourth medal at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Monday.
Yusuf clinched the Bronze medal in women’s weightlifting 64kg event, with 93kg in snatch and 119 in clean and jerk.
She had a total lift of 212KG to finish third behind Maude Charron (Canada) and Cochrane Sarah (Australia) who finished in first and second positions respectively.
