In the opening episode of the first season, we meet five key characters: Na’ima (Jemima Osunde), a spa manager battling insomnia; Badriya (Norah Ego), an influencer seeking self-acceptance; Zainab (Ame Aiyejina), the security for Honourable Jemima (Ummi Baba Ahmed); Hanifa (Maryam Booth), an artist yearning for independence from her husband; and Surrayah (Habiba Zock-Sock), an herbalist grappling with divorce.
Their routine day takes a sudden turn when Na’ima wakes from a nightmare, Badriya receives mysterious messages, Zainab navigates a romantic entanglement with her boss’s son, Kassim (Caleb Richard), and Hanifa faces marital tension over enrolling their daughter in school.
