Rachita Sharma is an Indian tech entrepreneur, financial literacy advocate and women’s rights activist. Her major goal is the leveraging of digital technology to improve efficiency and customer profitability. 

Education and Career

Rachita Sharma obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences from Delhi University and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Finance from the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.

Rachita worked as a Social Media Marketing Analyst for Greymeter, an online engagement platform. She also worked as a marketing associate of Zoofler, a platform uniting people through their travel experiences. Currently, Rachita is the CEO & Co-founder of Girl Power Talk, an organization empowering today’s most capable youth with the confidence, knowledge and opportunity to become tomorrow’s global leaders. 

She is also the Chief Marketing Officer of Blue Ocean Global Technology, a New York-based online reputation, review management and digital marketing agency. Her responsibilities include corporate communications, client engagement, and new business development. Both of them, especially Girl Power Talk encompass her belief in using communication as a means to kickstart uncomfortable conversations, especially amongst women. Rachita serves as a chairperson for the All Ladies League (ALL), a comprehensive network for women with over 70,000 affiliate members in 150 countries.

Awards and Recognition

Rachita is a recipient of numerous honours and recognitions for her work, In 2020, she was awarded the ‘Most Promising Woman in IT‘ Award by ANWA and the Indian Achiever’s Award for ‘Young Entrepreneur’ in recognition of inspiring social contributions. She was also recently recognized as one of the ‘100 Inspirational Women of 2021’ by the I Can Foundation & SheInspire Magazine. She was awarded a certificate of achievement by the Oracle Education Foundation and received the Business Elite’s Awards.
