Transgender Woman Transferred From Women's Only Prison After Impregnating Two Women

A transgender woman who was incarcerated at a women's only prison in New Jersey, America, has been transferred to another prison facility after impregnating two women earlier this year.

According to FOX News, the 27 year old trans woman named Demi Minor, was moved last month from the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton to State Youth Correctional Facility which is a prison for young adult offenders in Burlington County.

The above was revealed by Dan Sperrazza, a spokesman for the state's department of corrections. He further revealed that Minor was placed in the vulnerable unit at the new facility.

The move came after it was reported in April that Sperrazza said it seemed like two women at Edna Mahan were pregnant as a result of "consensual sexual relations with another incarcerated person".

Although claims of being beaten by correction officers during the transfer were made by Minor in a July 15 website post, the department of corrections has said they are investigating the matter.
